ENG 6860 James Joyce This course engages students in a close reading of James Joyce’s major works: Dubliners, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, and Ulysses. Joyce’s works are examined from a variety of critical perspectives which may include feminist and gender criticism, post-colonial criticism, deconstruction theory, reader-response theory, and Marxist criticism.
