HIST 5600 Twentieth Century United States Foreign Relations The ways in which the U.S. defined its status as a world power are explored through case histories of the Senate fight over the Treaty of Versailles and the League of Nations; the attack on Pearl Harbor and intervention in World War II; the Berlin Airlift; the Cuban Missile Crisis; and the Vietnam War. Conclusions are drawn about America’s role in the post-Cold War world. Credits: 3.0
