SPED 6450 Moderately and Severely Developmentally Disabled An in-depth coverage of techniques and materials appropriate to the lower functioning (trainable) developmentally disabled. Topics include learning characteristics, adapted toys and other devices, computer-assisted learning, self-care, adultation, preacademics and academics, behavior management, and related areas of study. Special attention is given to community support activities. Prerequisite(s): SPED 546 Credits: 3.0
