Middle School (5-8) Subject Matter Endorsement

Elementary Education Majors wishing to add a Middle School (5-8) Subject Matter Endorsement must complete one of the following Second Majors: 

Asian Studies (Chinese Language Track or Japanese Language Track)
Biology (ecology, general, physiology/behavior)
Chemistry
Earth Science
English (Literature or Writing)
French
Geography
History
Liberal Studies (English, history, political science, geography, or foreign language only)     
Integrated Math and Science (tracks: biology, chemistry, environmental, and math)
Mathematics (BA or BS)
Political Science (Social Studies Certification)
Spanish
