The Art BFA has a reduced University Core Curriculum Requirement:

  • UCC Area 2A - Expression: Arts and Communication; Not required for Art BFA students.
  • UCC Area 3C - Ways of Knowing: Social and Behavioral Science; Only one (1) course required.
  • UCC Area 5: Community and Civic Engagement: Not required for Art BFA students.

Students in the Art BFA program do not need to complete the University World Languages requirement.

Take four (4) required courses and one (1) elective.

Art BFA Two Dimensional 2000-Level Elective Requirement

Select four (4) courses.

Art BFA Three Dimensional 2000-Level Elective Requirement

Select three (3) courses.

Drawing, Painting & Printmaking Elective Requirement

Select five (5) courses, 3000/4000 level within Drawing, Paintng & Printmaking Specialization

Select nine (9) courses; no more than three (3) courses may be from the Communications discipline.
