ECON 3500 Economics of Globalization


This course provides the historical and empirical background necessary to understand the complexity of the current global economy and to make inferences about some of the contemporary issues in the global economic environment. The course will include research and policy discussions on trade, finance, immigration, labor laws, multinational corporations, environment and economic growth and development.  Course fulfills UCC - Area 6 Global Awareness. Prerequisite(s): ECON 2010
