NUR 4252 Dimensions of Public Health Post Licensure

The application of public health concepts provides the framework for this course. Selected health indicators are discussed, as are goals, objectives and interventions to improve the health of populations. Roles of nurses in community-based settings are presented. Principles of epidemiology are applied.

Open only to post-licensure nursing majors. Students are to enroll as per program-specific recommended course sequencing.
