COMM 3320 Filmmaking III: Directing and Producing


The main goal of the course is to bring the student through the entire, professional filmmaking process (casting, budgets, locations, etc.). An intensive laboratory course in film production, in which the class will produce a single film with the Professor acting as the Executive Producer- overseeing every aspect and detail of the student work. The script for the film may be chosen from those written in the Screenwriting class. Lectures and demonstrations will detail every aspect of the production cycle. Additionally, each student will have the opportunity to make an individual film. 
Students will be charged an additional Communication Lab Fee when enrolling in this course.
