BAN 3130 Data Visualization This course serves as a hands-on introduction to basic statistical concepts and the ways to communicate them to the target audience. In the modern days, people and businesses encounter colossal amounts of different types of data, which is very problematic to process, understand, and utilize. This class introduces quantitative basics of inferential statistics and further supplements it with visualization techniques in order to shows students how to understand, learn, and present the data. Visualization introduces design principles for creating meaningful displays of information to support effective business decision making. Students will learn how create interactive visualizations and use them to demonstrate or provide insight into a problem, situation, or phenomenon. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1170 , ECON 2100 , MGT 2000 , BAN 3100 ,BAN 3110 .
